About

The Americana (aka Elizabeth) is a native 4th Generation San Franciscan. From an early age she had a passion for fashion and design, doodling on any scrap of paper she could get her hands on. However, life lead her into construction, which has many parallels to her design interests.

Growing up in a traditional Maltese and Italian-American household instilled a love and appreciation of food and cooking. Somehow being in the kitchen always brought family together and, to this day, it remains the first room in her home that her family gathers.

Wanting to share her love of cooking, design, and experiences of being a women in a male dominated field, she began The Americana Post.
