Hi.

Fall Cocktails for your Thanksgiving Party...

Fall is in full swing and, like myself, you may be looking for a signature cocktail to serve at your Thanksgiving celebrations. 🥃🍸

We tried a few drinks out. Credit to Trader Joe’s for their Pumpkin Pie Mule Recipe.

These drinks are easy-peasy! Serve them in a vintage glass for added flare. Unfortunately, the etched coupe glasses are an antique find through eBay. Never hurts to hunt though!

Recipes below. Click on photos for links to spirits and glassware and the Trader Joe recipe.

CHEERS AND WARMEST WISHES THROUGHOUT YOUR HOLIDAY SEASONS 🥂.

POMEGRANATE MIMOSA

  • Fill champagne 3/4 up your coupe or champagne flute

  • “Float” Pomegranate Juice of your choice down the side of the Interior of the coupe so it floats to the bottom rather than mixing in with the champagne.

  • Top off with fresh pomegranate seeds and a sprig of green. We opted for some thyme but mint is just as lovely!

  • Pop, fizz, clink! - Enjoy!!! 🍾

TRADER JOES PUMPKIN PIE SPICED MULE

  • 2 parts TJ’s Pumpkin Pie Spiced Ginger Brew

  • 1 part TJ’s The Art of the Still Organic Vodka

  • TJ’s Pumpkin Pie Spice, for garnish (optional)

  • Fill a copper mug or highball glass with ice. Add ginger brew and vodka and stir. Take a sip, adding more ginger brew or vodka to taste. Garnish with a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice and ginger, and enjoy.

CHERRY MAPLE HOLIDAY MOONSHINE

(Don’t let the color or flavors of this drink fool you - this one will sneak up on you!)

  • 1.5 oz Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine Cherries (Moonshine + 3 cherries for garnish)

  • 1.5 oz Knob Creek Smoke Maple Kentucky Bourbon

  • 1.5 oz Knob Creek Kentucky Bourbon (Aged 9 years)

  • Top off with a splash of water or seltzer

  • Pop a cocktail pick in a glass with cherries from the Ole Smoky Moonshine Jar and a lemon twist (optional). Sip this one slowly! Tee-hee! :-)

GUNPOWDER GIN FIZZ

  • 2 oz Gunpowder Irish Gin

  • 1/4 oz Cointreau

  • 1 Large Egg White (preferably organic)

  • 1/2 oz Half-n-Half cream (preferably Strauss)

  • 3/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice

  • 1/2 oz Fresh Lime Juice

  • 1/2 oz Simple Syrup

  • Ice Cubes

  • Fever Tree Club Soda to Top (Approx 1 oz)

  • In large cocktail shaker, combine gin, Cointreau, egg white, half-and-half, lemon juice, lime juice, and simple syrup. Shake vigorously for 25 seconds. Add ice and shake for 30 seconds more.

  • Strain mixture into a tumbler glass. Slowly pour soda water down inside edge of shaker to loosen remaining froth. Gently ease soda water/froth mix onto drink and serve.
